Planttonix Founder, Designer,
Owner and Operator
Thoran is an avid lover of nature and great food, and has committed his life to helping others who share his passions. With over 20 years experience in the organics industry, he believes that everything comes from healthy soil and it’s nutrient density.
Thoran’s family has always been interested in food as medicine, and his father started him on this path from a young age. He’s also a self-learner with a thirst for knowledge, and is committed to a life-long path of discovering new innovation in natural health and wellness. He also enjoys researching, snowboarding and spending time with family foraging in the forest for medicinal and edible mushrooms. He is also a father and a husband, and lives on a beautiful organic homestead.
About the Company
Thoran and his team have been working in the organics industry for a very long time. After years of learning about what works and what doesn’t, they decided to share their line of helpful products, and founded their Company in 2017. These finely tuned, organic products can be found in various stores on Vancouver Island.
Based out of Cowichan valley, the Company fermentium is situated in a beautiful acreage surrounded by plants and a vibrant natural landscape.
Our Vision: On Vancouver island alone, there are roughly 1000 pounds of food wasted in each household per year. Our vision is to see as many Vancouver Island residents using Planttonix Bokashi in their homes to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions, increase soil diversity and contribute to the wellness of our planet through regenerative growing practices.
