What's the difference between Acitvated EM and the fertilizer that I can make using Planttonix Bokashi?

When combined with plant or food matter, our Bokashi transforms these materials, fermenting them into a liquid fertilizer that is rich in nutrients. It is shelf stable and is only activated when combined with organic matter. Our Activated EM activates SOIL, unlocking the nutrients already in them.

How does Planttonix Activated EM increase plant vitality?

How long does Planttonix Bokashi take to decompose?

Once the contents of your Bokashi Bucket have fermented, it typically takes about 2 weeks to break down. Large volumes can take a bit longer.

Please be sure that you follow the instructions on this page so that your Bokashi fermenting works correctly.

What does it mean to "sequester carbon"?

Carbon Sequestering is removing carbon from the atmosphere and in this case, “placing” it back in the soil.

Traditional compost piles generate heat as they oxidize carbon, which escapes into the atmosphere as greenhouse gases. With our Bokashi, you are eliminating the heating process and instead fermenting your compost so that virtually all of the carbon returns to the soil where it is “sequestered” - which means “taken in”.
